With all the reaction speed of a well-honed sloth (to be fair I have been away, with nary a speck of decent internet access), I bring you the week-old news that the Spin team have released a new version of BASin. If you don't know it, BASin is a handy tool for editing and debugging Spectrum BASIC code. OK, it's more than that - in the past I've mostly used it to help me create loaders for programs, tho' I did use it to write Rotozlow. But I digress.
This latest version, r14, brings with it a host of fixes and new features. Most impressive (for me anyway, as I don't do a huge amount of BASIC editing) is the screen$ editor, which has a lot of really nice features. I've not played with them fully, as I'm only just getting back into the "news" thing, but it certainly looks the stuff.
So. If you're one of the few people who have not already downloaded this release,
grab it from here and keep an eye on
this thread for any bugs and stuff.
Well done.
