If you're an R-Type fan then you may like to check out
R-Type's Museum. It's quite detailed considering it's just info about the game. Check it.

I've not really noticed this site before, but a link from
c64.sk pointed me to
diskmag.de. A quick look around revealed, ooh, at least a couple links to ZX resources, so it's worthy of a link from me.

Wanna take a look at some scene people? Then check out
this link. Wlodek Black has put up a bunch of photos from the party for your entertainment. Got this news from
POS, you know.

Remember the 'zine
Outlet? I think I have a copy somewhere. Or a disk, or something. Anyway, the homepage of this 'zine has moved. I didn't really know it existed, so I've simply added a link. It's the place you can go to register
Z80 (perhaps one of the most famous ZX emulators... at one time).

If you're interested in ZX-based
real music then you should maybe check out
Spectrum of Terror. Thanks to
VORC for pointing out that you can now download another track from
mp3.com, titled "Defloration Of Ears". Hmm. Interesting. Go grab, and play loud!

Thanks to a
thread on the
Peters Plus forums discussing graphics and GUIs for the Sprinter, I found out that I've been pointing to the wrong URL for the
Official Z80 Support Page. So, I've corrected it. That's how good I am.

In case you've not heard of this oddly-named project,
Turtles Dreams is a list of all of the ZX productions released at the various demo parties over the last few years. It's a truly impressive list, compiled by
ra_id/
Mayhem, featuring everything from demos and intros, through music, up to graphics. Check out the download, and try to remember what work
you've produced.

Another link to an "Old Computers" site is added to the page. This time it's called "
the Old Computer dot com". Hmm, catchy name. It's pretty much what you'd expect, although when I checked earlier the "Museum" was down. Pity. There's a few nice features tho', including a bunch of old TV ads and things. Lovely.

ZXLib is a neat C++ Library is designed for writing ZX-Style 2D games to run on Windows or Linux. It could be handy for anyone who wants to produce up-to-date version of ZX games. Obviously requires some coding knowledge, but I'm guessing you wouldn't even consider getting it if you didn't have any.

Here's a few bits of news for ya. It's later than I expected it to be before I was able to sit at my PC and start writing up stuff. So I'll bunch most of it here for now.
- Vortex : A new release of Vortex Tracker II brings us the ability to view, play, and edit .PT3 files. Lovely. It's on 1.0a2.
- Gas13 : An update on this homepage with Gas13's image from CAFe Party. It's called "Chunked". Some nice history of chunk graphics, too. Worth a read.
- Gooey : There's a prototype GUI tool for the Sprinter by MVG over on the Peters homepage. It's a "Spectrum-only" version (eh?) but check it out.
- POS : Good news, POS is back with us. No details of just why the site disappeared, but they're back with some CAFe downloads, amongst others.
- Scenergy : I'm too lazy to translate it, but it looks like Scenergy is celebrating two years online. Congratulation sirs. Happy Birthday. (now I'll wait for people to say I'm wrong, and that's not what it all means).
- CAFe : In case you missed it all, you can go to scene.org to get results and releases from this party.
- SevenuP : There's a new release of this Graphics Editor out. v0.6 takes it into beta status, with various updates that you can see on the homepage.
- Paradox : The Paradox 2002 page has been updated it seems, too. Some info about the party-place and timetable. Or was that all there before? Oh, I don't know.
- ZX Shows : There's a CSS post detailing some upcoming German ZX shows. Could be worth a trip if you're in the area.
- SEA ROM : There's a new ROM available, called the Sea Change ZX Minimal ROM. It was mentioned in this CSS post, and looks like a massive rewrite. One for the collection.
Ooh, that'll do for tonight. I have some things to do. Like sleep. 'Nite.
