Spectrumania 2000 in Germany

As there hadn't been so much meetings in Germany this year, some worried
about the Spectrumania. Keep cool, guys, the Spectrumania will be like
in all the last years!!!
 
This time it is a little bit later the year, but we thought it is a very
good date, as there seemed to be no other Spectrum-Shows worldwide in
November and this will make it possible to everyone to visit the show. A
very big thank we have to give the manager of the Hotel Residence
because they will give us the rooms for free!
 
Again we will have no special Demo-Competition this year, but we plan to
organise some other competitions to test your knowledge about Spectrum.
But there could be also some spontaneous competitions like when some
Game-Players like to compete against others, which is very usual at the
Spectrumania. Also we will have a big special surprise, so be patient
and come to the Spectrumania.
 
We will try not to take a entrance fee, but it could be possible that we
will need a small amount, maybe up to 2 US§ (2 UKP) for our small costs
and prices. Also if somebody wants to book a room, we will organise this
for you for special prices. Ask the organisator Fred for more under

Visitors who stays in the hotel will be welcomed and we will check the
rooms and prepare our Speccies. Later than we will go for some drinks
decide what to do.
25.11.2000 From 10.00 o'clock a.m. SPECTRUMANIA
With competitions, Bring & Buy tables and a lot of small-talk. 
 
How to find your way:
Some might know Sindelfingen as there are the Mercedes-Benz factories.
It is near Stuttgart in the South-West of Germany and easy to find.
Stuttgart has also an airport and we can pick you up there on Friday.
 
By car
Hope you find Stuttgart on your map. The A8 is leading directly from
Karlsruhe or Munich to Stuttgart. Near Stuttgart you have to change the
motorway to get on the A81 leading to SINGEN. Don't worry, it is cleary
described. Take the first drive out to Sindelfingen and stay on this
road. You will be on the NECKARSTRASSE which will lead into the
HANS-MARTIN-SCHLEYER-STRASSE. Take the sixth drive to the right and you
will be on the BACHSTRASSE. Only after a few meters drive again right
and it leads you to the CALWER STRASSE. Then you will be very near to
the Hotel “RESIDENCE”. Its got a own underground car park, which you can
use. Ask at the reception for the way to the show in the hotel.
 
By bus + train
From main railway station in Stuttgart (Stuttgart-Hauptbahnhof) take
the underground “S1” till Goldberg-Böblingen. Then get out and take the
bus No. 771, 702 or 705 till Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof (ZOB) in
Sindelfingen. From there you have to walk a few minutes to the left till
the corner GARTENSTRASSE (there is a chemist's shop and a post office).
The GARTENSTRASSE leads then in the CALWER STRASSE, where the hotel is.

07031/9330. But up to now everyone (also from abroad) did always find
it. Surely you can bring your Spectrum with you.
