TZX player for iPod
Posted By: gasman, Sunday, May 08, 2005 - 05:43 PM
Let's face it, it's what iPods were meant for all along... hooking one up to a Spectrum to use as a tape player with instant access to thousands of Speccy games. Well, it's now possible thanks to a new extension to the iPodLinux project. The patch to the Podzilla application adds TZX as a recognised audio file format alongside the more conventional formats such as MP3 and WAV. For more details, see the announcement on the iPodLinux forums.

On shameless self-promotionby gasman (gasman@raww.org.nospam) on May 08, 2005 - 06:00 PM (User information | Send a message http://www.zxdemo.org/) |
| Hmm, notice how almost all of my recent posts are about my own projects, or stuff I've been involved with? Well, I've decided that I don't care any more, because I'd like to see raww.org grow into the sort of place where everybody feels welcome to submit news stories relating to their own work (and other people's, of course). I think that's especially important now that ZXF is on an indefinite hiatus, and there's a real gap in Speccy news coverage to be filled. So there. You have the power to stop raww.org turning into my own personal ego trip, so get submitting! :-) |
