TI-of-TTL is a rear interface for ZX Spectrum (ZX48, ZX128, ZX+2, ZX+3+fix, TC2048, TC2068+emulator, UK2086+emulator), based on Timex Interface M-397 (this one from Timex FDD 3000). Like the Timex Interface M-397: -uses the same case; -hasn't through-slot; -has reset button; -requires another computer with disk drives; -can be connected to Timex FDD 3 or Timex FDD 3000; -is suitable to use TOS A.2, A.4, CP/M etc. But is better because: -made in TTL (LS, HCT) technology - hard to damage, easy to repair; -has 8 times more memory - 32kB EPROM and 8kB SRAM; -has build-in ZXVGS (now 0.27) - "*.Z80" files can be loaded ("*.TAP" loading and TR-DOS emulation require changes in ZXROM); -with special cable can be connected to Amiga or PC (pC) - what allows to use its disks and other devices (COM, TCP/IP); -has socket to connect with Spectrum's EAR - to load "*.TAP" and "*.TZX" files using standard ZXROM contents; -can have an optional socket to conect with Spectrum's MIC - to "save" files using standard ZXROM contents; -the main (top) button state can be readed in 239 port (reset button is on left side); -is ready to use FLASH EPROM instead of EPROM; -is the cheapset disk interface for ZX Spectrum, supposing you already have a computer with disks and parallel interface; :) -ZXVGS is still developed and offers more and more. The price is 80euro what includes: -TI-of-TTL interface, -cable to connect Amiga (parallel) or PC (LPT), -ZXVGS registration fee, -e-mail based help, -optional hardware or software (ZXVGS) modification to use TI-of-TTL together (in the same time) with other interfaces.
